7 Day GP
Last Updated: Thursday, 20 April 2023The 7 Day GP service operates from the Family Surgery building at 107 Liverpool Road Birkdale.
The service is provided by a joint collaboration by all the GP surgeries in Southport and Formby and can provide more capacity in a single location than the practices can do on their own.
Opening Hours
The service is open on weekday evenings from 5pm and at weekends.
The 7 Day GP service allows the surgery to offer you more flexible appointment times to fit round other commitments in your life.

How to book an Appointment
Appointments can be booked in advance by calling your own GP surgery. We recommend calling after 10am to book these appointments.
Important: Booking with 7 Day GP
Appointments cannot be booked directly with the 7 Day GP Service. Call your usual GP surgery for availability. They control your medical record and will need your consent to share it with the team at 7 Day GP
